Taiwan is surrounded by the sea. With the ebb and flow of ocean currents, all kinds of marine debris are filled on the beach. Various plastic bottles, bottle caps, straws, glass bottles, fishing nets, shoes and even large Styrofoam are not only messy but also It will harm marine life and affect marine ecology. Colleagues responded enthusiastically to the company’s call. We gathered 52 colleagues to go to the beach next to the Anping Dingding Bicycle Trail at the mouth of Yanshui River in Tainan to conduct a beach cleanup activity!
During the 2023 annual beach waste collection event, more than 30 kilograms of marine waste were picked up. Everyone hopes to do their part to return the earth’s beautiful and clean oceans.
It is advocated that after the daily lunch break, during the rest time from 13:00 to 13:30, everyone can close their eyes and recharge their batteries while saving energy and reducing carbon together! Tainan, Taichung, Hsinchu, and Taipei will be implemented simultaneously every day.
